Personalised travel planning can be a very expensive option, so we are working with clients on delivering a personalised service in a cost-effective way which requires little maintenance over the long-term.
For example, Ashton, Leigh & Wigan Primary Care Trust asked RATC to prepare localised travel information that could be used by health professionals to provide advice on active travel to their clients. Halton Council commissioned us to undertake the Links to Employment study. One outcome has been the Halton Neighbourhood Travel Team, providing journey planning services.
At Grand Union Village residential development, we are engaged until 2011 to provide travel planning services, including journey planning advice to residents.
