Richard Armitage Transport Consultancy (RATC) has been asked by Cork City Council to look at the possibilty of setting up a Car Sharing Club in the city. As part of this, RATC will be in Cork in early March. Richard Armitage will make a presentation at University College Cork (UCC) on the 6th of March. This will be followed by a debate and discussion, which should help to guage local interest in the idea.
RATC have produced two leaflets to inform the people of Cork about Car Clubs. One is aimed at residents, and the other at local businesses. Both leaflets are available to download below.
RATC have also devised a questionnaire to survey local opinion. The survey will be available at the presentation at UCC, and is available below for download. The survey can also be completed on-line by using the link below.
Also to help inform Cork residents, RATC have produced a version of their 'Add up your Car Costs' leaflet, which has been re-designed for Ireland. This leaflet enables car users to calculate how much they are paying for their car use, and maybe make a more informed choice about whether a Car Share Club would be suitable for them. |
