Our clients want community transport provision to be affordable, accessible, appropriate and safe. They need community transport services that are viable, sustainable over time, diverse, innovative, and able to provide greater capacity.
We prepared the Community Transport Strategy for North Yorkshire, with colleagues TAS Partnership. The work included the organisation of a large one-day consultation event, and the coordination of responses to the draft strategy from a wide range of stakeholders.
For the Department of Transport and the Community Transport Association UK, we researched and produced the CTA publication Guidance for Funders of Community Transport.
Richard Armitage was the founding chief officer of the CTA, 1984 - 1990, and RATC remains an active CTA member.
