| Many of our NHS clients are not involved in patient transport but nonetheless have to deal with the consequences if patients do not attend (DNA) a vital healthcare appointment.
We work on NHS patient transport in many different ways. For Manchester Health Authority, we researched, wrote, and designed their unique guide to the Hospital Travel Costs Scheme.
At Southampton General Hospital, we provided technical assistance to the team that did some of the first 'market testing' of patient transport services in the NHS.
For Kent Ambulance Service, we worked on the East Kent Direct integrated transport project, exploring a range of integrated transport solutions in partnership with the statutory, commercial and voluntary sectors to deliver more coordinated transport and transport information for essential travel in East Kent. At Margate, RATC prepared the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital travel information leaflet.
For the Lancashire Welfare Rights Service, we have written and designed posters and leaflets to help patients with their travel to hospital appointments.
